The Atlanta Humane Society is one of the oldest private charitable organizations in Atlanta, founded in 1873. They serve about 25,000 animals each year, and place approximately 8,000 dogs and cats into forever homes, in addition to the many programs they have - everything from low cost spay/neuter to H.E.A.R.T emergency teams.
This walk is the premier fundraiser and is a 5k/3mile walk at Atlantic Station. This is a "take it at your own pace" walk/stroll for fun, a little fitness and a lot of love. Sign up as an individual, create a team, or if you can't participate in the event, donate online to support the amazing work the AHS does in our community.
