Female Music Legends from the 2000s to Present Hit the Stage at State Bank Amphitheatre

Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling team up to bring a musical genre-bending show to the State Bank Amphitheatre on August 15th. The goth-influenced band and uniquely individual violinist, dancer, and composer will be making a stop in Atlanta as part of their summer tour.

Evanescence is an American gothic-influenced rock and metal band, best known for their breakthrough single “Bring Me to Life” and its accompanying album Fallen. Evanescence filled a niche few knew existed: the need for operatic goth pop, soul-baring introspection paired with churning metallic guitars. Since their inception in the mid-1990s, Evanescence has remained one of the most popular post-alternative American bands of the 2000s.

Lindsey Stirling has taken the world by storm with her abilities as a violinist, dancer, and composer. Her music incorporates the various styles of classical, hip-hop, and pop music into one unique sound, and her videos on YouTube have already received millions of views. Stirling is the model of a modern independent recording artist, with a symbiotic relationship with her fans. A motivational speaker in her spare time, Stirling uses her own story to show teenagers how to have confidence in the very thing that makes them unique – then wait for the world to catch up.

Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling’s joint tour promises to be full of heart-wrenching ballads, staged theatrics, and over the top musical overtures provided by a full orchestra. Be sure to grab tickets today before this event passes you by!
