Proudly Show Off Your Halloween Costume During a Party with the Past

Don your cape, cowl, or costume of choice and join Party with the Past as we journey to the Flatiron Building and Broad Street Boardwalk in Downtown Atlanta. Standing at 11 stories tall, this gorgeous 1897 construction sitting at the corner of Peachtree and Broad Streets, was Atlanta’s first free-standing steel-framed skyscraper! Celebrate the past and future of this historic masterpiece with a special Halloween-themed party!

Now known as Flatiron City, the recently refurbished building is a fantastic example of adaptive-reuse in Atlanta. During the restoration, Flatiron City payed special attention to historic preservation of this iconic Atlanta landmark, while creating a vibrant work environment for entrepreneurs and start-ups in Atlanta.

At Party with the Past, hop on a walking tour and let your cape flow in the wind as you learn about the history of the Woodruff Park area or hear about the history of Atlanta’s first skyscraper at our 7:30 pm history chat. Be sure to grab a burger from the Mix’d Up food truck, who’ll be serving up food for purchase, to compliment that cold brew from the cash bar.

As always, Party with the Past is free to attend, but be sure to RSVP to claim your spot. Party with the Past is a free program connecting young “ATLiens” to the historic locations around them (and the cold brews they crave). Come explore Atlanta's past and build a stronger community for the future.

At Augusta Commons Apartments in Marietta, Georgia, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
