All You Need Is a Mat, a Water Bottle, and a Great Attitude for This Free Yoga Class

Looking for something fun and free to do this week? Why not come out to Woodruff Park for 60 minutes of all-level vinyasa flow this Saturday morning? These fun, accessible, and meditative practices will leave you feeling peaceful yet invigorated--and part of a great community. Check it out this Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Vinyasa flow is yoga that incorporates sun salutations throughout the practice, so we will be passing through infamous downward facing dog, using our arms to chaturanga throughout practice, and matching breath with movement. The flows are good for beginners and advanced practitioners alike, so come one, come all!

Nestled amongst the modern office towers and historic buildings of the Fairlie-Poplar district, Woodruff Park is a 6-acre park in the geographic center of Atlanta. Its location at the crossroads of commerce, government, and education makes it a natural gathering space for a diverse cross-section of Atlantans and visitors and a key starting point for exploring Downtown Atlanta and its surrounding neighborhoods. Originally known as Central City Park in the 1970s, Woodruff Park was created through a generous donation from Robert W. Woodruff, former president of The Coca-Cola Company.

Make plans now to start your Saturday off on the right foot with free vinyasa flow yoga! Classes take place at the north end of the park in front of the Water Wall, located near the corner of Peachtree Street and Auburn Avenue, behind the Woodruff Park Atlanta Streetcar stop. Yoga classes are open to the public and free to attend. BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) and water. This event is made possible with the support of the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation.

There is very little in this world that is more rewarding than a full schedule of leisurely and stimulating activities. At Augusta Commons Apartments in Marietta, Georgia, we urge you to live life to the fullest and make plans to attend this highly-anticipated event!
